Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help House of Paws Indiana cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help House of Paws Indiana cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, House of Paws Indiana dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs
  • Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • Bordetella
  • Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered (if old enough)
  • Micro-chipped
